Our portable computers or lunchbox pc computers can be used to run a robust Windows NT 4.0 legacy requirement. Recently we were asked to provide such systems. It required us to obtain hardware that was Windows NT compatible. It also requred us to find and obtain all drivers necessary to make it a robust install. We had to use service pack 6 since it could handle the IDE controller we were using. One of the challenges was to provide the video and driver to make a screen resolution in excess of 1024 x 768. We also had to get the ATA 100 drives for this system far exceeding the 2 gig partition needed for Windows NT. As a result of this build Sterling is ready to offer a Lunchbox pc ( portable pc ) for anyone interested in this type of equipment. To offer this product take commitment and patience.
